AeroSpace Mapping Solutions (AMS) was founded by Peter Moir and Denis Kennedy.

Denis Kennedy

Denis Kennedy is a Chartered Accountant and former partner of Price Waterhouse Coopers.

He has been chief executive of a successful listed company and been involved in many major South African business transactions including international contracts.

As a business coach and strategist he uses all opportunities to share his valuable experience and knowledge to help others to achieve their business goals and objectives.

Dumi Sibandze

Dumi started his career as a pilot flying Business jets around Africa and Europe.

Dumi later became the founding CEO of Southern Mapping Geospatial, an airborne surveying company concentrating on the South African market.

He is an associate of Aerospace Mapping Solutions. He is presently the Director Africa and the Middle East for Blake Emergency Services.

His numerous travels into Africa allow him to keep contact with the industry in Africa.

Peter Moir

Peter Moir is a seasoned African continent surveyor. He was the founding CEO of Airborne Laser Solutions in the 1990’s which was the very first airborne laser survey company in the Southern Hemisphere. He was also the founding CEO of Southern Mapping Company in 2006.

Peter wishes to plough back into the industry what he has harvested throughout the years.

Peter Moir, Chief Executive, is recognised as a world leader in his

field as well as for his ability to get a project completed.

Having qualified in Surveying, Peter was a commercial helicopter

pilot and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management.

Freddy Opese Omba

Freddy Opese Omba, Regional Manager (Democratic Republic of Congo).

Freddy holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing, he has Involvement in the process to completion of many surveying projects in DRC and Congo-Brazaville.

AMS / Freddy supply logistical and administrative support for any Project and also obtains all the required DRC/Congo Civil aviation clearances.

Colin Ord

Colin Ord, Project Manager, a qualified accountant with a post graduate degree in business studies having extensive surveying project management experience within Africa.
